What is the Alpicon House Music Festival?
The Alpicon House Music Festival brings together good vibes and finest house music beats in the heart of Zillertal. Over two days and across a total of 9 locations, both in the mountains and in the valley, international DJs and live acts will create an incredible atmosphere.
The entry fee to the festival is completely free.

How much is the entrance fee to the Alpicon Festival?
The entrance to the Alpicon Festival, as well as all participating locations, is completely FREE. Only a valid ski pass is required if you intend to use the gondolas and lifts to reach some of the locations.
When is the Alpicon House Music Festival taking place?
The Alpicon Festival 2024 will be held on the 22nd and 23rd of March 2024 in the ski area Hochzillertal, Kaltenbach and Fügen.

This year again, we've organized exclusive locations both high up in the mountains and in the valley for the Alpicon Festival. You can find all the participating locations at www.alpicon.at/locations.
Is there an age limit for attending the Alpicon Festival?
During the daytime, there is no age restriction in the locations. In the evening, the house rules of each location apply.

Do I need a ski pass to participate?
No, entry to the Alpicon Festival is free. A valid ski pass is only required if you intend to use the gondolas and lifts on the festival days. Please note that some mountain locations can only be reached by gondola. If you plan to visit these locations, a ski pass is necessary.

Where can I buy a ski pass?
To avoid long queues at the ticket counter, we recommend purchasing your ski pass online in advance.
A ski pass is only required if you wish to use the gondolas and ski lifts on the festival days to move from location to location. There is no entrance fee to the festival. The ski pass is not a prerequisite to participate in the festival.
Can I join the Alpicon Festival even if I don’t ski or snowboard?
Yes, absolutely! Some of the locations at the Alpicon Festival 2024 are situated right in the valley and can be easily reached without skiing or snowboarding. Additionally, some mountain locations can be accessed by gondola or a short hike. To use the ski lifts, you'll need a valid ski pass, but entry to all locations is free otherwise.

To fully enjoy the two days, we recommend arranging your accommodation in advance.

How can I reach the Alpicon Festival?
By Car
Use the A12 Inntalautobahn and then take the exit "Zillertal". The B 169 Zillertalstraße will take you approximately 7 km to Fügen and another 6 km to Kaltenbach.

By Train
Take the train to Jenbach station. From there, you can reach Fügen and Kaltenbach with the Zillertal Bahn.

By Bus
From Jenbach station, bus line 8330 goes directly to Fügen and Kaltenbach.

Additionally, there are ski buses that will take you directly to the base station of the Hochzillertal ski area.

By Plane
The nearest airport is Innsbruck Airport, with a transfer time to Zillertal of approximately 50 km or about 1 hour, which can be easily done by bus and train.
The nearest international airport is Munich (about 150 km away). Airport transfers with a taxi service enable direct travel to Zillertal, or you can alternatively travel by bus and train.
Where can I park my car?
If you're arriving by car to the Alpicon Festival, you can park it for free at the valley station of the Hochzillertal ski area. From there, you can easily reach sChic, Postalm, and all other locations in the ski area Hochzillertal. Additionally, you'll find parking lots right at BAWA and the Inselbar in Fügen, where you can leave your car for free.
Are there any organized shuttles to the various locations in the valley?
No, there will be no shuttles between the locations in the valley.
The locations can be reached by using public transportation (Zillertal Bahn and Bus Line 8330).

Where can I get information about the Alpicon Festival?
All the necessary information is available on our social media channels and on our website.
On the festival days, we will use Instagram and Facebook to communicate updates and last-minute information regarding the festival.
In addition, we will set up an info point at the Mountain View. Feel free to visit us at any time and ask us any questions about the Alpicon Festival. It's worth dropping by because there will be opportunities to win something as well …

How can I pay at the Alpicon Festival?
There won't be a voucher system at the Alpicon Festival. You can pay for your food and drinks either in cash or by card at the respective locations.
Please note that especially at the locations on the mountain, card payments may not always be guaranteed. It's recommended to bring enough cash with you to ensure you won't have any payment issues.
In Fügen and Kaltenbach, there are ATMs for cash withdrawal available.
What time is the last gondola heading to the valley?
The last gondola runs at 4.30 p.m. But don't worry, the party continues in the numerous Locations in the valley in the evening until the early morning.
What happens in case of bad weather?
We are keeping our fingers crossed for good weather on both festival days. Thus, we plan to hold the Alpicon Festival outdoors whenever possible. Bear in mind that the weather in the mountains can be quite cold, so be sure to bring warm clothes.
If the weather is not in our favor, we’ve prepared an indoor alternative program. All last-minute information will be available on our social media channels (Instagram & Facebook).
What should I do in case of an emergency?
Stay calm, assess the situation, and ensure the safety of yourself and others. Then, initiate the emergency call and provide first aid until the authorities arrive.

To avoid accidents on the ski slopes, it is crucial to adhere to the applicable FIS rules. You can find more information about them at www.hochzillertal.com/en/ski-area/fis-slope-rules/.
And remember: Never ski faster than your guardian angel can fly, and if you consume alcohol, it's safer to take the gondola back down to the valley.
What am I not allowed to bring to the Alpicon House Music Festival?
For your safety and the protection of all other festival attendees, we kindly ask you to not bring and dangerous objects of any kind to the Alpicon Festival. Additionally, professional audio and video recording equipment is not desired.
Can I bring my camera to the Alpicon Festival?
To respect the rights of our artists and other festival attendees, professional photo and video recording equipment is not allowed on the festival grounds.
Our photo and video teams are dedicated to capturing the Alpicon Festival from all angles. We will then publish the photos and videos on our social media channels (Instagram & Facebook) right after the festival.
Can I bring my dog to the Alpicon Festival?
Even if your furry friend loves house music, we strongly advise leaving them at home. By doing so, you’ll spare your beloved pet a lot of stress and ensure a better experience for yourself and all other festival attendees.
