How to get there

By public transport

Take the train to Jenbach, then continue with the Zillertalbahn or bus line 8330 into the Zillertal. Get off either at the Erlebnistherme-Zillertal station in Fügen (BAWA) or at the Kaltenbach-Stumm station in Kaltenbach, where you can get directly to the Hochzillertal valley station.

By car

Via the A12 Inntalautobahn, exit Zillertal, then continue on the B169 Zillertalstraße - about 7 km to Fügen or 13 km to Kaltenbach.

By airplane

Arrival via Munich or Innsbruck, then onward journey to the Zillertal by cab or public transport.
How to reach the Locations

Kristallhütte

Ski only: Start with the Hochzillertal gondola, via piste 14 to the Schneeexpress, continue on piste 8 to the Öfelerbahn. Then via the mountain station of the Kristallexpress directly to the Kristallhütte.

Albergo

Ski: With the Hochzillertal gondola, then via piste 14 to the Wimbachexpress.

Walk: With the Hochzillertal gondola and then via the winter hiking trail to the Wimbachexpress.

Mountain View

Ski & Walk: Take the Hochzillertal gondola directly to Mountain View or come directly from the piste, depending on your location.

Platzlalm

Ski: With the Hochzillertal gondola, via piste 14 to the Sonnenjet, then via piste 4 to the PlatzlAlm.

Walk: Take the Hochzillertal gondola, then turn right across the piste to the PlatzlAlm (steep ascent).

Wedelhütte

Ski: With the Hochzillertal gondola, via piste 14 to the Sonnenjet, then piste 12 to the Wedelexpress and on to piste 13 to the Wedelhütte.

Walk: From Hochfügen with the Zillertal shuttle gondola, then approx. 10 minutes on foot to the Wedelhütte.

Postalm

Walk: Directly to the left of the Hochzillertal valley station in Kaltenbach.

sChic

Walk: At the Hochzillertal valley station in Kaltenbach.

Bawa

Public transport & Car: In Fügen, directly on the B169, next to the Erlebnistherme Zillertal. You can reach the BAWA from the Hochzillertal valley station in Kaltenbach by public transport or cab.
KABOOOM

Walk: Right next to the Hochzillertal valley station in Kaltenbach, next to the large parking lot.

Red Bull Truck

Walk: Directly at the Hochzillertal valley station in Kaltenbach.

FAQ

Where and when does the festival take place?

The Alpicon House Music Festival will take place on March 20–21, 2026, in the Hochzillertal ski resort, as well as in Kaltenbach and Fügen.

To the locations

How much is the entrance fee?

Admission to the Alpicon House Music Festival and all locations is completely FREE. Only a valid ski pass is required when using the cable cars to reach some of the locations.

Is there an age limit?

There are no age restrictions in the locations during the day. In the evening, the house rules of the respective location apply.

Who will be at Alpicon 2026?

Do I need a ski pass?

No, admission to the Alpicon Festival is free. A valid ski pass is only required if you want to use the cable cars.

Please note that some locations on the mountain can only be reached by cable car.

Where can I park my car?

You can park for free at the valley station of the Hochzillertal ski area. There is also a parking lot right next to the BAWA.

Are there shuttles to the various locations in the valley?

There will be no organized shuttles in the valley. The locations can be reached by public transport(Zillertalbahn and bus line 8330).

Where can I get information about the Alpicon Festival?

All information is available in advance on our social media channels and on our website. During the festival, you can find up-to-date information on Instagram and Facebook.

There will also be an information point at the valley station.

How can I pay at Alpicon?

This varies depending on the location, please note that card payment is not always guaranteed, especially at locations in the mountains. We recommend that you bring sufficient cash with you.

What happens if the weather is bad?

If the weather does not cooperate, we have come up with an indoor alternative program. All last-minute information will be available on our social media channels.

What should I do in an emergency?

Stay calm, assess the situation and rule out danger to yourself and others. Then make an emergency call and provide first aid until the emergency services arrive.

In order to avoid accidents on the ski slope, the applicable FIS rules must be observed at all times. And the same applies here: never ski faster than your guardian angel can fly and take the gondola down into the valley if you have consumed alcohol.

What am I not allowed to bring to the festival?

For your own protection and that of all guests, we ask you not to bring any dangerous objects.

Can I bring my dog to the festival?

Even if your paw friend likes house music, we strongly advise you to leave him at home. This will save your pet a lot of stress and do you and the other guests some good.
